RECEIVING BROAD-BAND ANTENNAS 0.3 – 30 MHz

IT IS DIRECTIVE NON-RESONANT ( APERIODICAL ) AND TERMINATED.Both Mod. R20/T and Mod. R40/T are receiving broad-band antennas composed of a two wire 5 mm Ø ( 8/16 Ø) coaxial conductor 20 meters ( 66 ft. ) and 40 meters ( 132 ft. ) long referring to Mod. R20/T and Mod. R40/T respectively. The two-wire conductor terminates with a non-inductive resistance.
Mod. R100/T is also available.
They belong to the same family as BEVERAGE but they have the advantage, non-negligible, of neither requiring a conductor so long as BEVERAGE ( 1-2-3 lambda ) nor requiring ground, and radial ground-wires.
CONSEQUENTLY HE WHO LIVES IN TOWN, WITHOUT A GARDEN AND WITHOUT MUCH SPACE, CAN UTILIZE THESE ANTENNAS TRANQUILLY.
The signals received are attenuate, according to circumstances, from 10 to 25 db ( like BEVERAGE ) but they result to be MUCH CLEARER AND NOISELESS.
THEY ARE PARTICULARLY FIT FOR DX LISTENING FROM 1.8 TO 10 MHz ( Therefore 160m, 80m and 40m dands are included for radio-amateurs
