Firm's Introduction and activity

GIOVANNINI ELETTROMECCANICA has been operating with success in the telecommunications field since 1983, year of her establishment, and since 1978 under another trade-mark.

In these left 15 years the proceeds have been divided in to 70% for the MILITARY sector and 30% for the amateur civilian one in general.

She is provided with NATO AQAP-130 quality certification and all products are marked CE.

Synthetically design and construction are addressed to systems of large-dimension HF antenna, comprehending towers, rotators and accessories.

Furthermore she is specialized in design and construction of systems according to the customer’s specification.

She possesses a workshop equipped, a laboratory, a radio-room and a test center, 1 km far from the head-office, of about 2 hectares where the antennas are tested and adjusted.

She executes ordinary extraordinary maintenance on antenna systems in the whole national territory.

On request the systems can be installed completely by us.

GIOVANNINI is provided with a complex receiving/transmitting system able to operate from 2 to 30 MHz with continuous power of 10 Kw RF and for short periods up to 15 Kw RF.  All system is equipped with various apparatus including a transportable 50 Kw generator and a dummy 50 ohms 15 Kw load. All system is transportable as one block. It is utilized for tests and measurements on apparatus and antennas at our transmitting center so as to give a quality product tested. Furthermore it can be hired to firms requiring a power RF field for the calibration and measurement of apparatus and systems.
